Lettuce pocket stuffed with ground pork, cucumber and fresh crabmeat.
The sweetness of the crab (cold) goes perfectly with ground pork (hot), making it a decadent lettuce pocket. Great balance of texture.
Ingredients
Gem lettuce (washed and pad dry)
Fresh crabmeat
Ground pork
Cucumber (julienne)
Hoisin sauce
Water
For the pork marinate:
Soy sauce
Sake
Corn starch
Oil
Hoisin sauce
Preparation
Marinate the ground pork and sauté in pan until done.
Mix hoisin sauce with a dash of water to dilute it.
Cooking
To assemble, spread a small amount of the diluted hoisin sauce on gem lettuce.
Spoon some pork onto the lettuce, follow by cucumber.
Top with crabmeat.
